Costa Rica La Pastora is a coffee that will take you on a journey to the picturesque hills of the Tarrazú region. It is there, at altitudes reaching 1,800 metres above sea level, that coffee trees ripen more slowly, drawing minerals from the fertile volcanic soil. The result? Beans of extraordinary density, which bring out the best of nature in your cup.

Thanks to the "washed" processing method, the brew is clean, clear and extremely elegant. This is an option for those who want to discover new nuances in coffee without giving up the pleasure of dessert.

The harmony of chocolate and mandarin

There is no boredom in a cup of La Pastora. It is the perfect balance of two worlds:

  • Sweetness: A velvety base with a milk chocolate flavour provides a pleasant body and a long aftertaste.
  • Fruitiness: A delicate note of juicy mandarin adds lightness and freshness to the coffee.

This coffee is ideal for pour-over methods (where it will bring out the citrus notes), but when brewed as an espresso, it will produce a thick, sweet brew with a fruity "spark".
